Powering
Tomorrow

Gone are the days of cheap energy from the grid.
In the slow boil of steadily increasing rates and moving goalposts of utility power schedules, the cost of running your operation has undoubtedly gone up even if your usage has nominally decreased with mechanical efficiency.
Price per kWh is the sum of monopoly union linesman wages, shareholder profits, employee pensions, copper, steel, aluminum, natural gas, diesel, trucks, insurance, wildfires, etc – are all on the rise, and none of which you control.
Meanwhile free charged particles rain down on your property from the sky, providing an abundance of energy to power your buildings, charge your fleet, and with a one time installation cost circumventing the grid’s inefficient generation, transmission, and distribution model, can create great savings over time be it purchased outright or financed.
American Clean Energy has the capital partners, engineers, and operators to design, build, and maintain your custom on site renewable energy system, combining the raw power from the sun with advances in battery systems and software to mitigate your energy costs and keep critical loads operating in the time of grid failure.

FINANCING
Cash is King, and Leverage Cash Flows.
Producing your own power on site yields a lower levelized cost of energy over time, however the up front cash investment before tax incentives can be daunting compared to more urgent operationally core expenses or facility upgrades that an organization may need to grow and thrive.
Enter structured finance – traditional debt where you purchase the system with a loan that can be paid down with incentives and savings, or power purchase agreements where a third party owns and operates a system that you host which produces cleaner and more affordable energy than the local grid.

Services

PV Solar Panels
All Life on Earth is
Powered by the Sun
The workhorse of any on site generation, solar photovoltaic modules silently redirect sunshine with no moving parts to your electrical system – thereby bypassing the grid’s costly and inefficient generation, transmission and distribution network. Commercialization of Einstein’s 1922 Nobel Prize “for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect” harnesses free energy that lands on your property and can be tuned to suit your current and projected demands. Solar arrays are modular and can be incrementally designed, positioned and sized to offset your facility usage pattern. Economies of scale come into play with each successive panel costing less than the previous ones up until a point of diminishing returns, a balance which our Development Team will help you explore.

ESS Batteries
Save it for
a Rainy Day
You don’t eat a turkey during a jog, so why would you consume all the energy you produce in real time? Same way a fresh caught fish goes in the modern freezer whereas whatever you didn’t eat or sell would soon spoil even recently in history, a solar energy system now pumps excess generation capacity into Energy Storage Systems – aka batteries – to be on demand when you need it. Gone are the days when the grid ‘needed’ renewables midday to supplement office towers, AC demand, etc. 20 years ago less than 1% of the grid mix was from sun and wind, whereas midday springtime California can be 100% powered by its weather and we export that cheap clean juice to neighboring states. It no longer ‘pays’ to overproduce energy, so battery storage on site plays the role to meet afternoon and evening demand spikes to minimize costs as well as back up critical loads during a grid outage.

EV Charging
“More Torque
than Diesel”
Fuel prices are on the rise and largely controlled by global petro dictators. The average American driver clocks 37 miles per day behind the wheel, and fleet fuel and maintenance costs can be one of the most expensive and variable line items in a budget. Many organizations have had help in their back-to-office pushes with car chargers on site, and landlords have seen tenant success with motorist spending while stopping for a charge. As hands shift from the fuel nozzle to the EV charger, more money stays in their wallet while electrical demands increase on a site. Budgeting for this trend is part of a cohesive energy strategy and can create profit centers and CapEx savings when deployed with PV and ESS. Reallocate variable funds from the horse shoes and hay for your Clydesdales to a clean steady source generated on site.

Installation
Every site is unique in both its construction and access to the sun, so matching the proper installation method to its resource set is critical.
Carports
Great option when roof mounting a system may not work based on required surface area, membrane age, or aesthetics. Although steel costs are not insignificant even after tax credits and depreciation, the added benefit of covered parking and easier long term maintenance is a triple win.
Roof Mount
Closer to the sun, the highest point on a property historically has taken the brunt of the sun’s daily pounding. Turning that plane into an energy generating machine is not only the most cost-effective way to go solar, it also creates an extra layer of insulation for the building by acting as a heat shield.
Ground Mount
When roof or parking lots are not optimal based on size or demand, excess land can be a very economic installation method if topography, soil type and distance to meter line up. Large scale systems can be designed with single-axis trackers for extra efficiency, whereas fixed arrays are great for mid size projects.
